Description: Silicone rubber rolls are available for a range of applications in the industrial and residential markets. This type of Silicone rubber has excellent stretching capabilities while remaining strong enough to be elastic. Silicone rubber rolls are available in 50 to 60 durometer and can be ordered in other durometers by special request. With an average elongation of 300% and an average of 650 PSI tensile strength, Silicone rubber rolls will handle most tough medical or gasket environments and heavy alkaline and chemical resistive situations. Since silicone rubber is made of synthetic materials and is inert it makes it an excellent choice for applications where fungal growth is not permitted.

Applications: Silicone is resistant to most chemicals and oils, making it particularly useful for medical labs, food processing shops and high temperature gaskets. Silicone is used when higher temperatures are needed to make a seal or provide shock resistance for delicate medical instrumentation. Silicone in Roll form is a extremely valuable on several applications... being as the material is in a roll, it is an excellent purchase for volume runs on production parts.
