All Seals is a recognized leading converter of high quality open and closed cell sponge rubber gaskets and seals. Our company's reputation for excellence has been built on our ability to provide our valued customers with the most effective designing, engineering and converting solutions to meet their most demanding applications. Our main objective is to continuously exceed our customer's expectations by providing them with high performance gaskets and sealing products, competitive pricing, on-time delivery and exceptional customer service. All Seals maintains a modern manufacturing facility along with knowledgeable, technically-oriented professionals enabling us to consistently meet all your blueprint specifications and tolerance requirements.

All Seals has experience in the providing of precision, die cut gaskets, including closed cell sponge gaskets for a wide range of industries and applications. Closed cell sponge rubber is technically referred to as expanded rubber. Most grades are available in soft, medium and firm densities, and each offers a unique set of physical properties. The standard thicknesses of closed cell sponge range from 1/16" up to 2" thick. The majority of closed cell neoprene sponge rubber and blended sponge rubber products meet UL94HF-1 flame rating. All Seals can die-cut the closed cell sponge product that you require using our most common commercial closed cell neoprene blend sponge styles:SCE41, SCE42, SCE43, and SCE45. Closed cell sponge rubber gaskets are available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing. Closed cell sponge rubber gaskets are utilized in a variety of industries including: appliance, automotive, construction, sports equipment, electrical enclosures, HVAC, marine, and lighting.

All Seals maintains a full line of closed cell sponge rubber gasket materials. The materials most frequently used include:

  • Closed Cell Neoprene Sponge Rubber (100% Neoprene Sponge)
Resists light oil contact, ozone, alkalis and acids, a good choice for general enclosure door gaskets. It is serviceable from -40°F to 158°F continuous and intermittent temperatures up to 200°F. Meets UL94HF-1 flame rating.
  • Closed Cell Blended Sponge Rubber (Neoprene/EPDM/SBR Blend)
Most often used for general purpose sponge gaskets. Meets UL94HF-1 and will take -70°F without cracking due to superior cold resistance.
  • Closed Cell EPDM Sponge Rubber
Closed cell EPDM sponge is used most often with outdoor conditions such as water, ozone and indirect sunlight. These materials do not meet the UL flame rating do not withstand oils or fuels.
  • Closed Cell Nitrile (Buna-N) Sponge Rubber
Nitrile closed cell sponge rubber is an excellent gasket material for sealing applications that require oil and UV resistance. Also resistant to vegetable oil, animal oil, and mineral oil, gasoline, diesel and other aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. Closed Cell Nitrile (Buna-N) Sponge Rubber can handle temperatures ranging from -40°F to +200°F.
  • Closed Cell ECH (Epichlorohydrin) Sponge Rubber
ECH sponge is used most often for automotive gasket applications due to its ability to handle continuous temperatures of 300°F and light oil and fuel contact. It also has very good resistance to weather, ozone, sunlight and oxidation. Closed Cell Silicone Sponge Rubber Silicone sponge is an excellent material for gasket applications that require a soft compressible material. It is resistant to extreme temperatures, high temperature stability, has general inertness and offers a good compression set. It is available in soft, medium, firm, and extra-firm densities and is available in many colors. Silicones can perform well in extreme temperatures ranging from 103°F to 450°F. This gasket material is resistant to aging and degradation from sunlight and ozone.
  • Closed Cell Viton™ Sponge Rubber
Closed Cell Viton™ Sponge Rubber is a sponge formulation that is manufactured with a continuous skin on both sides. The skin makes the sponge stronger and more tear resistant. Even when the skin is punctured or cut, the sheets will not allow passage of air or fluid between cells. These gaskets are highly compressible, resilient, light weight and provide good thermal insulation. It is generally resistant to aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, oils, acids, hot water, fuels, ozone, lubricants and animal or vegetable oils. Closed Cell Viton™ Sponge Rubber can handle temperatures ranging from -10°F to 400°F.
  • PVC/NBR Sponge Rubber
Closed-cell PVC/NBR blend elastomeric has a fine cell structure and medium compression deflection. It is designed for automotive, truck and appliance applications.

Open Cell Sponge Rubber Gaskets

All Seals produces precision die cut, open cell sponge gaskets from a variety of, thicknesses, hardness, and grades. Natural open cell sponge is a popular choice among our selection of open cell sponge materials. This material is available in five densitiesRO11 (soft), RO12 (medium), RO13 (medium firm), RO14 (firm), and RO15 (extra firm). It is supplied with a textured surface with skin on both sides. The standard thickness of open cell sponge rubber typically ranges from 1/16" up to 1" thick. Natural rubber open cell sponge is available in standard colors of black and tan, but can also be it supplied in special colors such as blue, red, orange, yellow, green and gray if a significant amount of material is required. Open cell sponge rubber gaskets are available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing.

All Seals maintains a full line of open cell sponge rubber gasket materials. The materials we most frequently use include:

  • Natural Open Cell Sponge
Natural open cell sponge is excellent for cushioning applications as well as applications that requires a skid resistant surface. This material does not take a compression set. It is available in soft, medium, medium/firm, firm, and extra firm grades. Natural Open Cell Sponge can handle temperature range from -40°F to 160°F.
  • Neoprene Open Cell Sponge
Neoprene Rubber open cell sponge has all the same features of the natural open cell sponge and also works well in applications that come in contact with petroleum-based products. This material also meets various military and ASTM specifications including Mil-R-6130, Mil-C-3133, and Mil STD 670 and is available in soft, medium, and medium/firm grades.
  • EPDM Open Cell Sponge

Closed Cell Sponge Weather Stripping

All Seals manufactures closed cell sponge weather stripping in convenient roll lengths. We supply four different density options: soft, medium, medium/firm, and firm. All Seals offers our weather stripping in thicknesses ranging from 1/8" through 1/2" thick in widths from 1/4" to 6" wide. Rolls are available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing (with peel-off liner).
