All Seals has experience in the providing of precisionflexible graphite gaskets and seals for a wide range of industries and applications. We convert custom die cut, water jet cut, and laser cut gaskets from a wide selection of flexible graphite materials. The three most common styles of flexible graphite materials we use include: pure graphite sheet; graphite sheet reinforced with a tang core; and laminated graphite sheet reinforced with a stainless steel insert. Flexible graphite gaskets are manufactured from sheet and roll material. It has a density of 70 lb/ft3 (1.1 g/cc). Flexible graphite sheet comes in thicknesses of 0.005", 0.010", 0.015", 0.020", 0.025" and 0.030". Flexible graphite rolls are offered in thicknesses 1/64", 1/32", 1/16" & 1/8". Flexible graphite gaskets are available with or without pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing.

All Seals maintains a full line of flexible graphite materialsoffering flexibility and stability for your application. Flexible graphite is manufactured from mineral graphite and contains carbon content between 95% and 99%. The higher the percentage of carbon the more flexibility the graphite will exhibit. All flexible graphite gaskets have excellent resistance to corrosive chemicals, high temperatures and high pressures. They also exhibit excellent thermal conductivity and an ability to securely seal. Graphite gaskets also offer good resistance to abrasion and resistance to humidity. Flexible graphite gaskets are used in many industries such as; refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, paper mills mines and other fields. They can be used in many applications including EMI shielding, heat dissipation, industrial fluid sealing, lubrication, stress sensing, vibration damping, and other thermal, electronic and electrochemical applications.

Flexible Graphite, Standard Grades

  • FLEXIBLE GRAPHITE, STYLE CGA 
    A pure flexible, homogenous graphite laminated sheet with chemical and physical properties similar to non-laminated flexible graphite.
  • FLEXIBLE GRAPHITE, STYLE CGB 
    It is flexible graphite inserted with a 0.002" 316 Stainless Steel sheet. It has excellent chemical resistance and a temperature limit of 1600°F.
  • FLEXIBLE GRAPHITE, STYLE CGC 
    Flexible graphite inserted with 0.004" high purity Aluminum sheet for additional structure. The aluminum insert has a temperature limit of 900°F.

All Seals offers flexible graphite laminated gaskets that are reinforced with wire mesh, carbon steel foil, aluminum foil, nickel alloy, polyester film, and mylar®.

Flexible Graphite, Branded Material

All Seals converts flexible graphite gaskets and seals using a broad range of well known flexible graphite branded materials such as Grafoil®, Thermoseal® (Klinger®), Flexitallic®, Frenzelit®, Durlon®, andTeadit® in various styles and thicknesses.

Grafoil® Flexible Graphite Gaskets

All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Grafoil® Flexible Graphite. Grafoil® flexible graphite is made from 100% graphite and contains no resins or inorganic fillers. It has excellent resistance to corrosion against a wide variety of acids, alkalis and salt solutions, organic compounds, and heat transfer fluids, even at high temperatures. It has superior seal-ability under low flange loads, an unlimited shelf life and no sharp edges. Grafoil® flexible graphite material is engineered for critical sealing applications such as internal combustion engines and fluid sealing applications and related systems.

  • GrafTech Grade GHL GRAFOIL® 
    All Seals produces high quality gaskets using GrafTech Grade GHL GRAFOIL® gasket material. GrafTech Grade GHL GRAFOIL® gasket material is a laminated material made with GRAFOIL® Grade-GTB flexible graphite. It is often used to replace old style or thick gaskets or to fill gaps caused by worn or out of flat flanges.
  • GrafTech Grade GHR GRAFOIL® 
    All Seals produces high quality gaskets using GrafTech Grade GHR GRAFOIL® gasket material. It is an uncured laminate made with GRAFOIL® Grade GTB flexible graphite adhesively bonded to both faces of a .002" thick flat 316 or 316L stainless steel insert.
  • GrafTech Grade GHO GRAFOIL® 
    All Seals produces high quality gaskets using GrafTech Grade GHO GRAFOIL® gasket material. It is a laminate made with GRAFOIL® Grade GTB flexible graphite mechanically bonded to both faces of a .004" thick tanged C-276 insert.

Thermoseal®/ Klinger® Flexible Graphite Gaskets

 Thermoseal® Klinger® Flexible Graphite Style HL

All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Thermoseal®/Klinger® Style HL flexible graphite.  It is standard industrial grade graphite sheeting with superior chemical resistance.  Graphite is highly compressible and compactable allowing for low gas permeability with low electrical resistance.

 Thermoseal® Klinger® Flexible Graphite Style SLS

All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Thermoseal® / Klinger® Style SLS flexible graphite.  It is graphite adhesively bonded to a .002” 316 stainless steel foil.  Graphite is highly compressible and compactable allowing for low gas permeability with low electrical resistance and has excellent anti-stick properties.

 Thermoseal® Klinger® Flexible Graphite Style PSM

Flexitallic® Flexible Graphite Gaskets

  • Flexitallic® Flexicarb ST, Flexible Graphite
    All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Flexitallic® Flexicarb ST flexible graphite. It is a tanged steel reinforced graphite laminate with sheet material of graphite foil layers mechanically bonded to a 0.1 mm (0.004") thick 316 stainless steel tanged core. This enhances the mechanical strength of the graphite foil. Flexicarb ST is suitable for sealing steam, water, gasses, hydrocarbons, alkalis and chemicals.
  • Flexitallic® Flexicarb SR, Flexible Graphite 
    All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Flexitallic® Flexicarb SR flexible graphite. Flexicarb steel reinforced is a high performance laminate comprising of graphite foil chemically bonded to each face of a 0.05mm (0.002") 316 stainless steel substrate. It possesses good mechanical properties and is suitable for sealing steam, water, gases, oils, hydrocarbons, alkalis.
  • Flexitallic® Flexicarb NR, Flexible Graphite 
    All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Flexitallic® Flexicarb SR flexible graphite. It is a graphite laminate consisting of graphite foil with a nickel core 13 microns (0.0005") thick. The bonding agent is a high temperature, chemical resistant nitrile phenolic adhesive.

Frenzelit Novatec® Graphite Based Gaskets

All Seals produces high quality gaskets using a variety of Frenzelit Novatec® compressed non-asbestos graphite filled materials, including: Novatec® 825, Novatec® 925, and Novatec® Premium II.

  • Novatec® 825 (cranberry): is a very soft non-asbestos fiber engineered with Kevlar.  It has high stress relaxation properties.  It is highly compressible and allows for outstanding conformability, adaptability and flexibility.  It has high resistance to temperature and media and is rated for temperatures up to 850ºF.
  • Novatec® 925 (grape): is a medium density non-asbestos fiber engineered with Kevlar.  It is 75% pure graphite which provides desired balance of elevated temperature resistance and chemical compatibility.  It has a low compression and high recovery percentage allowing for accurate tolerance control.  It is an excellent chemical sheet that works best in heat exchangers, vessels, valves and pumps.  It is rated for temperatures up to 925ºF.
  • Novatec® Premium II (blue): is engineered graphite bonded with Kevlar.  It offers high chemical resistance, long stability and is resistant to stress relaxation.  Its high density and high tensile strength enhances excellent torque retention and superior ability to seal.  Its stress relaxation exceeds the values of all conventional materials. It is rated for temperatures up to 1000ºF.

Durlon® Flexible Graphite Gaskets

All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Durlon® Flexible Graphite. It is unaffected by heat over a wide range of temperatures and exhibits low electrical resistivity and high thermal conductivity. This material is suitable for cryogenic temperatures. This product is suitable for applications in the automotive, refining and petrochemical plant processes.

Durlon® Flexible Graphite is available in several styles. These include homogeneous sheet and laminated styles with various types of core materials.

  • Durlon® Style FGS95, Flexible Graphite
    All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Durlon® Flexible Graphite Style FGS95.It contains no binders or resins and is used in industrial applications such as oil refineries, power plants and chemical process plants.
  • Durlon® Style FGL316, Flexible Graphite 
    All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Durlon® Flexible Graphite Style FGL316.It is an industrial grade sheet laminated with an adhesive bond on both sides of a .002" thick 316 stainless steel foil insert. It is used where high performance is critical.
  • Durlon® Style FGT316, Flexible Graphite
    All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Durlon® Flexible Graphite StyleFGT316.It is mechanically bonded on both sides of a .004" thick 316 stainless steel metal tang core.  It is used when stress and pressure resistance is important.

Teadit® Flexible Graphite Gaskets

 Teadit® Style 2660

All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Teadit®Style 2660.It is a flexible graphite sheet and has pressure temperature seal-ability capabilities that are far superior to all non-asbestos reinforced sheet products.  It is resistant to chemical attack by virtually all organic and inorganic fluids. Gaskets cut from Teadit® Style 2660 have low to moderate bolt loads and due to very low creep relaxation, re-torquing is rarely required.  Flexible graphite conforms to irregular flange sealing surfaces and readily flows into flange irregularities enabling it to seal both smooth and coarse surface finishes.

 Teadit® Style 2661 (Stainless Steel Flexible Graphite Sheet Foil Inserted)

All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Teadit®Style 2661.  It is a flexible graphite sheet reinforced with a 316ss foil, .002” thick.  It is resistant to chemical attack by virtually all organic and inorganic fluids. Gaskets cut from Teadit® Style 2661 have low to moderate bolt loads and due to very low creep relaxation, re-torquing is rarely required.  Flexible graphite conforms to irregular flange sealing surfaces and readily flows into flange irregularities enabling it to seal both smooth and coarse surface finishes.

 Teadit® Style 2663 (Flexible Graphite Sheet 316ss Tang Inserted)

All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Teadit®Style 2663.  It is a flexible graphite sheet reinforced with a 316 stainless steel tanged core, .005” thick.  It is resistant to chemical attack by virtually all organic and inorganic fluids. Gaskets cut from Teadit® Style 2663 have low to moderate bolt loads and due to very low creep relaxation, re-torquing is rarely required.  Flexible graphite conforms to irregular flange sealing surfaces and readily flows into flange irregularities enabling it to seal both smooth and coarse surface finishes.

 Teadit® Style 2664 (Flexible Graphite Mylar Film Inserted)

All Seals produces high quality gaskets using Teadit®Style 2664.  Itis a flexible graphite sheet reinforced with Mylar® film, .0005” thick.  It is resistant to chemical attack by virtually all organic and inorganic fluids. Gaskets cut from Teadit® Style 2664 have low to moderate bolt loads and due to very low creep relaxation, re-torquing is rarely required.  Flexible graphite conforms to irregular flange sealing surfaces and readily flows into flange irregularities enabling it to seal both smooth and coarse surface finishes.
